There are several types of Corrosion Inhibitors. The ones that are commonly used in fracturing are C1-BQC for high temperature upto 350F. Another is C1-BQC-1 which is free from propargyl alcohol and used for medium temperature upto 250F.

CI-BQC or I123: Acid Corrosion Inhibitor
CI-BQC is a cost effective high temp acid corrosion inhibitor for use in Acidizing.

Applications: Oil field – Pumped at 0.5 to 4 gpt with acid fluids to provide residual corrosion inhibition. Designed to form a protective film on metal surfaces. Used in acidizing and spearheading up to formation temperatures of 350 F.

Chemical Structure: A blend of Haloalkyl heteropolycycle salt, Propargyl Alcohol, Surfactants, and Emulsifiers which has excellent inhibition rates against HCl, HF, and mixtures thereof in L80, N80, P110, 13Cr95, etc.

CI-BQC-1: Acid Corrosion Inhibitor
CI-BQC is a cost effective medium temp acid corrosion inhibitor for use in Acidizing.
